I loved this restaurant. Will definitely return. Went for a date night before a show. It was fully booked. Noise level was moderate. Not loud but not quiet either. Didn’t have to scream my order to the server. Food was excellent and so were the cocktails. My only negative is the dress code. I wished they didn’t allow athletic wear - tshirts, sweatpants, hoodies; a collared shirt dress code should be enforced. Being a 5 star restaurant, the attire of the patrons should also be of 5 star standard.

From the moment you walk in, the attention to detail and spotless environment make you feel welcomed and valued. The meal begins with their famous bread basket, which is a true standout. The parmesan bread is soft and flavorful, while the cornbread, with its subtle hint of jalapeño, adds a unique twist. It’s hard to resist asking for a second basket. Their Negroni is nothing short of perfection—expertly balanced, showcasing the classic cocktail’s rich and sophisticated character. It’s the ideal pairing for any dish on the menu. The tuna steak was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly seared and paired with a ginger ponzu sauce, it delivered a harmonious balance of flavors and textures that left a lasting impression. The lobster claws were another highlight—simply spectacular. The freshness and quality of the seafood, paired with flawless preparation, made them an absolute treat. Finally, the Key Lemon Pie was the perfect way to end the meal. Creamy, with just the right balance of sweetness and tartness, and a perfectly crisp crust, it was an unforgettable dessert. We were fortunate to be served by Megan, who was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more delightful. Her professionalism and warm demeanor truly elevated our visit. This was a special occasion dinner Christmas eve date night. The service was great and the time at the restaurant very relaxing. I really appreciate the ability to be able to have a conversation so many restaurant inDC are so noisy even sitting next to each other it's hard to talk. Our waiter Franklin was very personable friendly and knowledgeable.

This was our first time dining here and the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and I enjoyed the music.

It was a great experience. The only small thing. We were seated in the back originally. I mentioned we were celebrating something. Back in the day there was a card on table. None this year. There was a lamp on the table but it was off. It was dark and quiet. I asked to be reseated where the live music was playing near the bar. It was my friend first time and she said EVERYTHING was flavorful. The one bartender male I think bald head service was good. The lady short care simply did the job. Thanks again.
