- JJanetVIPGreater Boston •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful greeting by hostess. We sat out on covered porch. Our server, Kathy, was excellent. Knowledgeable, helpful but not intrusive. We shared the tuna tartar app….delicious ! We had the pan seared cod and simply salmon with salad and asparagus. Both entrees were perfectly cooked!! We were too full for dessert, bit the list looked great!! Another great experience !!More infoBoat House Waterfront DiningPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Tiverton•4.8

- DDouglasVIPPhiladelphia County •50 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWhen you find yourself in New Bedford, MA, treat yourself to a meal at The Black Whale. Extremely convenient location, plenty of parking and a beautiful building make a great first impression. We were warmly greeted by a Manager and a Server, and even though we were 40 minutes early, they sat us straight away. The menu is extensive, however, not overwhelming, and SO many great choices. Our Server, Meredith was very warm and welcoming, starting us off with water and their delectable salmon dip with tasty “crackers”. To aid the decision making process, my wife started with a Painkiller, and I a Maine Lunch. We finally decided on the tuna poke bowl for my wife and the pan-seared scallops for me. Oh, and I had to try the New England Clam Chowder, the best I have had in quite some time. Then Meredith informed me the chowder is an Officials and People’s choice award winner from this year’s festival. Please do try it! Honestly one of the most delightful, delicious and enjoyable meals I’ve had in the area. The Black Whale is definitely a must do when you find yourself in the New Bedford area, or you are just passing through.More infoThe Black WhalePrice: Expensive• Seafood• New Bedford•4.8

- EEsilaKey West / Florida Keys •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024The food here was fantastic! We sat at the bar and our bartender/waitress, Tanya, was terrific. My eggplant rollatini was a lighter entree (this can be heavy, but not here), with a delicious marinara sauce—Gorgonzola cheese was bonus flavor! My Villaggio salad was fresh and chopped and the Chianti creamy Italian dressing was sooo good. My cod entry was lemony, salty goodness. And the desserts were delicious. It was so cool eating in an old home..really loved it!More infoVillaggio Prime Bar and GrillePrice: Expensive• Italian• Cotuit•4.3
