From the moment my husband and I walked in the door, we were greeted with smiles from all staff and made to feel at home with manager, Daniel. We sat at the bar and Ron delivered the most special cocktails and wine to pair with our meal selections. A must tried is the fries lobster tail and be sure to order extra bread! Management always gets blamed when things don’t go right, and management should get the kudos when it all goes well. Eddie V’s success in Palm Desert starts at the top. All the pieces fit: it starts with a friendly greeting, a manager that introduces himself, a service staff that exists to insure you’re comfortable with pace and all liquids refilled without asking. But, as good as all the service expectations being met, the excellence of the food is an equal portion of the experience. When all these elements come together: service, food quality, and the creation of a staff to live up to management’s vision, you are presented with the best dining in the entire Coachella Valley. Although our reservation was for 7 we arrived about 15 minutes early and were seated right away. The staff were attentive and constantly came to the table to offer drinks, more bread, and filled up water glasses. We ordered paella, mussels, ribeye, scallops and seafood pasta. All were delicious. Nicely paced attention meals were excellent quantities were appropriate desserts were delicious. Rear dining room was the quietest for conversation even though there was a large party of 12 to our side.
