Best Seafood Restaurants in Scripps Ranch

Finally a FRESH SEAFOOD DOWN TO EARTH CLASSY Restaurant that provides the ultimate in freshness in every ingredient tasted this night. My wife and I frequent seafood restaurants all over the Pacific including Maui and other neighboring islands. Only one that came close is Merrimans' not Mama's. The Fishery is the Real Deal and Thanks to the wonderful mind and hard work of the Owner and its' hard workers and especially the Chef who have nailed this hard to please type of cuisine and preparation.... Could not have asked for a better Christmas dinner! Watching the sunset, with great food and drinks! 10/10 recommend. We are going to come back for the normal menus because the Christmas choices were amazing!

Great food at the happy hour on Christmas Day!! Our party had their clam chowder soup, bread, octopus, Japanese sweet potatoes, lobster roll, and broccolini. All delicious!

Since we went at 4:30, it was fairly quiet, not crowded. I wish they would expand their menu a bit. The lobster bisque soup was good, but lukewarm. The mahi was great. My companion sent the vegetables back to the kitchen to be cooked more, but they came back the same. The prices are a bit high so I won't return frequently.

This place has been a gem for the better part of 3 decades. Chef's have come and gone but it stays consistently great. Great food, outstanding service and the best wine list to value that you can find in the whole city. We had not been in a while and during dinner we had to ask ourselves why. Try it, you'll love it.
