- CCarolVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •41 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoGar Woods was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We sat at a window overlooking the lake with a beautiful Christmas tree nearby. Our food was delicious and we had very good cocktails with a large list to choose from. They have a very good food menu to choose from-from burgers and sandwiches to prime rib and fish. Our server was very sweet and kind but she must have had a lot of tables because we waited long stretches to get her attention to get more drinks and dessert. But it was Christmas and the place was packed. We will definitely go back again.More infoGar Woods Grill and Pier RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carnelian Bay•4.7
- GGailTahoe / Reno Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFriday’s Station has been a favorite for years! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the volume is just right so you can carry on a conversation! The food is always excellent with a variety of choices. And the staff is awesome! James is attentive, and helpful with food choices, and a long time Tahoe resident. So fun to chat! I highly recommend Friday’s Station and often refer our guests.More infoFriday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill - Harrah's Lake TahoePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Stateline•4.7
- JJenVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024Fantastic dinner with extended family! The Granite Chief cocktail was refreshing and complex. Highly recommend the duck starter. The cut of the day was the bison rib-eye, which was delicious. If they have it, definitely opt for it. My dad had the pork chop, which he praised as better than what he recently had at a 1-star Michelin restaurant in the Bay Area. The catch of the day, sea bream, included Kauai prawn, mussels and delicious mushrooms. The grilled lemon cheesecake was amazing, while the chocolate mousse was shockingly too chocolately for the chocolate fans in my family. Overall, the tastiest meal in the Tahoe area we’ve had in a while. Definitely plan to come back!More infoSix Peaks GrillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Olympic Valley / Squaw Valley•4.6
