- CCherylGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoA great night out! We had 5:45 reservations at the bar. We arrived 25 minutes early but were promptly seated. It was quite busy already! Our bartender/waiter made us feel welcome immediately. He was knowledgeable about the food and wine and had a great suggestion for a substitute for the Sauvignon Blanc that was not available. My husband made the observation that the staff all looked like they enjoyed their jobs. The food was over the top - perfectly prepared. Not one complaint. The attention to service and food, especially considering the pace at which everyone was working made for a perfect evening.More infoToroPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• South End•4.7

There is such creativity in the flavor combinations and an incredibly wide menu. (Tapas and beyond). The drinks had matching creativity.!!! - MMarleneVIPGreater Boston •60 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSycamore creates consistently excellent food and drinks. Last night's boudin blanc is a treasure -- only prepared in December, and it runs out in early January -- is it a delicate, flavorful white sausage that is like eating soft clouds of umami. So good! Also, the lamb two ways was exceptional -- small rack plus lamb confit wrapped in dark leaves, served on a flavorful couscous. They also happily prepared a vegetarian version of their gemelli carbonara, with chunks of squash and forest mushrooms. Bartender Scott remains a standout -- makes great drinks and is funny and whimsical. Owner Dave was gracious, as always. We have been to Sycamore time and time again, and they never disappoint.More infoSycamorePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Newton•4.9
