- PPamelavipWashington, D.C. Area •58 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLively spot in Southie, with multiple sports screens, good beer, and yummy bites for brunch or lunch (maybe dinner too but we were there at noontime). My southern egg and maple sausage sandwich was a vast improvement over fast-food versions. My husband loved the short rib eggs Benedict. Both dishes were reasonably sized portions. We visited on a Saturday when it was busy and were glad we made a reservation!More infoThe PlaywrightPrice: Expensive• American• South Boston•4.8
- KKarenvipSouth Carolina •35 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a great dinner at City Works during a recent visit to Boston. We were staying at the Residence Inn and were able to walk from the hotel. The area is quite nice with lots of shops and other restaurants. It was festively decorated with holiday lights. We sat at a high top and enjoyed the many screens to watch games. Mario was our server. He was attentive and helpful. I had Spicy Shrimp Skewers - a Chef’s Favorite item - and my husband had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries. Both were excellent. We really enjoyed the warm Chocolate Cookie served in a cast iron skillet with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream for dessert. Highly recommend City Works!More infoCity Works - WatertownPrice: Expensive• American• Watertown•4.2

- POPatriciaOGreater Boston •15 reviews4.0Dined on Jul 12, 2024Lindsay our waitress was excellent. Her service was great, she had our party of 15 and another large party so she was working hard but remained very pleasant and helpful. The place is very loud, we knew this before we went so weren't surprised but sometimes I wish it wasn't so loud. The food is good, its pub food. Prices are reasonable. Definitely would reconmendMore infoJake n JOES Sports Grille - WoburnPrice: Moderate• American• Woburn•4.4
