Best Steak Restaurants in Chinatown

This is my favorite restaurant. I’ve been going here for decades. Most of us have waited all year for our reservations. All I ask is DO NOT rush us through our meal. When I tell you that I would like to finish my martini before we order, I am not joking. And having to tell you multiple times to just let us enjoy our drinks is super frustrating. Also, don’t be rude. This will affect your tip. Just leave us alone and we will let YOU know when we are ready. Literally, just back off.

This place is a hidden gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of FiDi and North Beach. Although the cost is a bit of a splurge, it's worth it for a special occasion, date night, family celebration or just dinner with friends. Happy hour is well priced, with delicious cocktails and bites, and chocolate cake on the dessert menu is beyond anything you have ever tasted. I have eaten both in the upstairs (Restaurant Week) and downstairs (Happy Hour) areas, and both have a great ambiance. The downstairs has a lounge/speakeasy vibe that would be perfect for a date.

Our go-to steak house San Francisco. The atmosphere, service, and food are amazing. The servers are friendly and courteous. The steaks we had were cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive. We will be back.

The only thing disappointing was that the fish was overcooked. Other than that it was really good

We had an amazing time at Epic Steak celebrating our wedding day with family. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned, and the view of the bridge and the ambiance was wonderful. The host, servers and waiter staff was awesome. My mom did not have her glasses and the waiter offered her a pair so she could read the menu. I also had a slight cough and he offered lemon and honey. Way to go above and beyond, 5 stars all around!!
