    Once again Pates was a great experience - from the staff (Shannan & Marin) to the amazing food - Korean fried broccoli, seafood pan roast and the salmon - cooked to perfection with the perfect flavors. Great wine list to accompany whatever items you select. Highly recommend the brownie sundae to top off your dining experience!

    We had Emma as our server. She was friendly & very helpful with out dinner choices. We started with coconut shrimp & for our entrees, I got the rack of lamb with chipotle mashed sweet potato & grilled asparagus. So amazing! And my husband got the chicken alla vodka also amazing. Emma assisted us in choosing a nice Portuguese wine, silk & spice. It was delicious & smooth. We are frequent flyers at the Black Whale and for a very good reason. Top quality Food & amazing staff!     We all chose something from the daily specials; shrimp puttanesca and duck confit. We were each delighted with our meal. It was a night out with friends to celebrate the season and we did not feel rushed. Always a favorite dining experience.

    This is our 3rd year of having our annual Christmas party at Alberto's. Once again they did not disappoint. We had a great meal in festive surroundings with great service. Our meals were delicious as always. We enjoyed our dessert and coffee without feeling rushed to leave and were allowed to sit and talk for a little while despite the busyness of the restaurant. The waiter was great dealing with 6 individuals credit cards and cash. I'm not a waiter by profession, but I know that's a pain to deal with. Once again the overall experience was outstanding, and I'm certain we'll be back next year.

    Visiting Hyannis from out of state and decided to try Embargo. Definitely one of the best decisions ever. Drinks, food and service were some of the best we've ever experienced. Would make a trip back just to go there again. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try Embargo.
