Our original reservation had us in an undesirable spot within the restaurant compared to what I normally sit within the restaurant. We met with the manager to give him our feedback on the seating. He immediately surveyed what was available and moved our party to an available private room with two other large parties. It was perfect. The manager was very considerate of our continued patronage to Bourbon but also the day’s importance being Christmas Day. The goat cheese appetizer was an excellent start, creamy and tangy and the bread basket and butter is so good too. We ordered the prime strip oscar with chimichurri and the bone in filet au poivre. There was an error in the kitchen and our steaks were delayed. I believe we waited a bit over an hour but we were enjoying a lovely bottle of red they had on special and chillin’ Parrothead style. When our perfectly cooked hot steaks arrived we were immediately informed they had been comped, without us complaining, because the Manager felt the wait was unacceptable. We were very pleasantly surprised at the level of accountability and exceptional standard of service the restaurant holds itself to. Needless to say we enjoyed our evening and will happily return to pay full price next time.
