Best Steak Restaurants in New Westminster

We had a great time as always. It’s so nice of many staff to stop by our table to say hi to us, with their busy work responsibilities. Excellent staff, excellent food, and excellent drinks Thank you!

Baked garlic shrimp and escargot appies are a must! Pistachio crusted salmon was excellent. Served with mushroom rice and broccollini. Also ordered shrimp/scallop bernaise side sauce. Delish. My date ordered prime rib roast sandwich with au jus and all the fixings. Comes with your choice of side. Service was impeccable. Prefer to sit on the bar side rather than the restaurant side. Personal choice but like the bar side ambiance better.

I rarely do reviews good or bad, unless something during my visit was exceptional. Whether it be the food or the service or both. We usually go to The Keg in Coquitlam but we moved and this Keg is closer to us. I haven’t been to this one in 30 years. All the staff were very nice and took a few minutes to chat. Our server Nadia was great. She was friendly and very attentive. My steak was a bit under cooked for my preference and she took care of it. Then she followed up to make sure I was satisfied. Taylor, the dining room manager brought me my dinner when it was ready and genuinely apologized. He went beyond our expectations to make sure I was satisfied with my meal and with our dining experience. We enjoyed our visit. From the friendly staff, our attentive server, Nadia, and Taylor going beyond the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our experience. The food was excellent too. Will definitely go back again!

My wife's usual choice for celebrating her birthday dinner. Location at the New West Quayside is always a nice touch for fraser river scenery. The service was attentive and nicely paced and the food was well prepared and cooked to our desired likings. My New York steak was delicious and my wife's lobster with sirloin was exquisite as well. Always a pleasure to come eat and relax at the New Westminster boathouse!!!
