- AAmberVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe visited JOEY on Valentine's Day and it was an amazing experience. The hostess was friendly and helped us quickly. We were offered bubbly immediately upon arrival. Our waitress, Shayla, offered excellent explanations of some of the food options and provided some recommendations, but it was more than just a simple opinion. She would provide reasons for her recommendations which was helpful for us to decide if we felt the same way she did about a specific food item. The service was quick but we didn't feel rushed. Everyone seemed to be helping fill waters and we always had full glasses. The manager came by the table to check on us and wish us a good night. Overall it was a 10/10 experience.More infoJOEY University VillagePrice: Moderate• American• Laurelhurst•4.6
- AAndrewSeattle / Eastern Washington •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had the pleasure of celebrating both Valentine’s Day and our anniversary at South Lake Union’s Daniels Broiler, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. Our server, Robert, was exceptional — perfectly attentive without ever being intrusive, and his extensive knowledge of the menu and wine list made our choices easy. He guided us to the perfect red blend to accompany our meal, enhancing the entire dining experience. We started with the crispy calamari and oysters on the half shell, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and impeccably prepared. For my entrée, I chose the crested Aji tuna, which was cooked to perfection, with beautiful flavors and a stunning presentation that looked almost too good to eat. My partner opted for Daniel’s filet mignon, which was prepared exactly as he requested — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. We concluded our meal with Daniel’s Broiler’s signature coconut ice cream, complete with toasted coconut chips and a drizzle of hot fudge. It was simply out of this world. If you haven't experienced it yet, I highly recommend it! A special thanks again to Robert for his fantastic service and to the chefs for delivering an exceptional meal. Every aspect of our evening was perfect — from the food to the ambiance to the flawless service. We will certainly be returning for more memorable nights like this one. - NNoahSeattle / Eastern Washington •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe rice cakes are a staple and delicious as always, the Muscovy duck was new as was the winter root vegetables, which were both excellent. Don't sleep on the sauces they are each nestled in, it takes these 2 dishes to the next level.More infoJoulePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Wallingford•4.6
- KKristinVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •12 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWent for my birthday and loved it so much I took a friend back a week later. Both times I had the Wagyu Bavette and love that you can pick your portion size. The second time they were out of the size I wanted so my friend and I picked a little larger one to share. Sides are a la carte so we picked a few of those too-the crushed potatoes and the shaved Brussels salad were both delicious and seasoned well. For my bday we had the Caesar salad which had a creamy, mustard-forward dressing and the perfect croutons. Cocktails are well made and balanced and they have some good NA options. We only tried the chocolate pot de crème for dessert, and oh my. Perfect to share because it is so rich and decadent, but not too much. This has become my new neighborhood favorite!More infoThe ShamblesPrice: Expensive• American• Roosevelt•4.8
- DDonnaSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 10, 2025I had family here from California, and we arranged to meet at this restaurant, which I had been to once previously. I remembered that it was good, and also that it was near Seattle Center, and I had a hunch these two would want to poke around over there once our meal was done, so it was a perfect location. The service was warm and friendly, but never intrusive, and the food was divine. I ordered the "sweet stuff" French toast with caramel and strawberries; nobody else makes it like this, and it was mouthwatering! I also ordered (to go) some "soft scramble" eggs with asparagus and Dungeness crab. It's so hard to get real, fresh crab anymore, what with the overfishing, but my eggs had actual leg segments of crab in them, a perfect ratio of filling to egg. The eggs came with their amazing potatoes, and my husband and I had that dish, along with a small amount of leftovers from my French Toast, for dinner that night. This may be my favorite Seattle restaurant right now! The cherry on the sundae, so to speak, was that when we were finished, we sat and chatted and nobody seemed anxious to kick us out of our booth. Oh hell yes.More infoToulouse Petit Kitchen & LoungePrice: Moderate• American• Queen Anne•4.7
