Best Steak Restaurants in Switzer

My boyfriend and I came to Hyde Park for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. The table was set up in a way that acknowledged our anniversary and I thought that was super sweet. The food was delicious! We had Logan and Heather as our servers and they were great!

4/6 of us visit a couple times a week. Robert is a wonderful server! But what happened to the CHEESECAKE! BRING IT BACk!! This new one is awful! Food good, service good, cheesecake not good at all!

The staff was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure everything was perfect throughout the evening. The food was absolutely top-notch! Every dish was cooked to perfection, starting with the appetizers that were both creative and delicious. The steak, as expected, was phenomenal—perfectly seared, tender, and bursting with flavor. The sides, like the creamy mashed potatoes and decadent lobster mac and cheese, were the perfect complement. And let me not forget the desserts—truly the icing on the cake, both figuratively and literally! The atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, striking the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. The lighting was just right, creating a cozy ambiance that made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re there for a special occasion or just a great meal, Ruth’s Chris Steak House delivers an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional food, service, and atmosphere!

Natalie was our server and was excellent. She was attentive to our every need, pleasant, professional. We were impressed with her knowledge of virtually everything in the menus from wine to beef and seafood. There wasn't a thing she couldn't speak on with very helpful information. We had the grilled romaine, Japanese wagyu, king crab, creamed spinach, and the peanut butter cup for dessert. We can recommend each of those without reservation. If you like to share and you let them know you plan to, they separate everything in advance without even having to ask them to do it. The food, services, and atmosphere was fantastic. We would be happy to go back anytime.
