- EEdwardWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFew places exceed expectations set for a newer restaurant but this was my experience on my first dinner at La Grande Boucherie. Filled to capacity for Thanksgiving, the service didn't suffer, the wine list well matched to the menu, and the food was perfectly prepared. The steak melts in your mouth, the French onion soup better than Paris, and oysters fresh, plump, and perfectly chilled. Outstanding. But nothing prepares you for the breathtaking ambiance! The sweeping staircase, magnificent Beaux Arts interior- you might think you're in Paris!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - DCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Washington•4.5
- AAndreaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy sister and I had an amazing Thanksgiving experience here. We ordered the Filet and Tail and we could not have been any happier. Victor took great care of us and ensured we had all that we needed and more. He was kind, attentive, and recommended items to us to try. My steak was cooked perfectly along with my lobster tail, but the Rockefeller Oysters stole the show. The ambiance was decadent, much like the delicious sweet potato pecan pie. I enjoyed the seasonal gin and tonic, while my sister delighted over the Bourbon Smash---the bartender did not disappoint. I did not catch her name, but we chatted for a few about various gins and bourbons. Although this was a busy day for the staff, they handled it with grace and the kitchen staff--- I mean, they really showed out. Not a dirty plate to be noted, portion sizes were consistent with the price, and special care and attention to plating was noticed. I will certainly return! If you get the chance, ask for Victor. Our waitress, Ash, was patient and attentive. Food serving portions were generous and tasty. - MMichelleWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy family and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our Thanksgiving at the Omni Shore, marking our very first venture into the hotel's festive offerings – and what a delightful experience it was! From the moment we stepped into the warmly lit ambiance, we were greeted not just by the welcoming staff but also by the enchanting melodies of a live pianist, setting the perfect tone for our holiday brunch. The experience was nothing short of magical. The spread was meticulously laid out, presenting an array of Thanksgiving essentials that left us spoilt for choice. While we observed the absence of ham, this detail quickly faded into insignificance against the backdrop of the culinary delights that awaited us. Each dish was a revelation of flavors, evidently crafted with care and the freshest of ingredients, capturing the true essence of Thanksgiving in every bite. Moreover, the mimosas added a sparkling touch to our celebration, perfectly complemented by the impeccable service and the picturesque setting of the Omni Shore. But what truly made our Thanksgiving brunch extraordinarily memorable was witnessing the genuine enjoyment and satisfaction of my parents. Thank you, Omni Shore, for a truly splendid Thanksgiving. Your exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and the magical atmosphere have left an indelible mark on our hearts. Here’s to many more celebrations with you!More infoRoberts Restaurant at the Omni ShorehamPrice: Expensive• American• Woodley Park•4.5

Even though there were many open tables we were seated right next to another table that was very close. We had to move our tables over a bit to give some place next to the couple next to us.
