Best Steakhouses in Prospect

This was our second time dining at Steak & Bourbon and I have to say this has been our favorite dining experience in Louisville! Our server was attentive, hospitable and excellent! For drinks, my wife ordered the Bourbon Smash and I ordered a Blue Moon. Our dining experience began with bread that was salted perfectly with a house made butter candle nestled in the middle. This alone is an impressive start to our date night! Then we ordered the Steak and Cheese Hand Pies which were the perfect combination of flakey crust, steak, cheese and sauce! Our server had refilled our beverages and reset our utensils between each plate. The biggest decision of the evening, which steak to choose? We both ordered the center cut filet, I went for the 10 oz and she ordered the 7 oz, both with Au Poivre sauce. Our side was the Shepherd's Pie. Everything was perfectly cooked, tender and we ended our dining experience more than satisfied! We can't wait for our next visit to Steak and Bourbon!

The service was over the top! We had the barrel cut filet cooked medium rare with the bourbon peppercorn sauce with a lobster tail add on and it was the best steak I’ve ever had. We also had the lobster Mac & Cheese which was over the top! We finished off the meal with the bread pudding and it was the best EVER! Totally recommend Repeal if you’re in Louisville.

Another wonderful meal at Morton’s! We went because we caught a deal on gift certificates at Costco. Treated ourselves to a happy new year dinner. Seafood tower was everything we wanted, and then some! Our server Chris was great too. Lastly, thanks for the refreshing lavender mocktail. As I “dry-January”, this was a special treat.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Le Moo. Jennifer was our server and she was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. We had the lettuce wedge, ribeye (prime)-cooked to perfection, with the fried potato cakes. The food was exceptional and the turnaround time was very quick. We frequently dined at this establishment when it was the old K.T.'s, so it brought back many memories. They made awesome updates, but kept the wonderful nostalgic ambiance. I highly recommend dining at Le Moo.

We have been to Malone’s several times since it opened its location in Louisville. As in the past, the service was attentive and timely. Rachel was engaging and efficient. Our twin filets were delicious and prepared perfectly. A nice way to spend a New Years Day afternoon.
