Best Steakhouses in Flourtown/Fort Washington

This was my first holiday dining out since I lost my mother who was my every holiday expert cook and host. At Sullivan’s Steakhouse, I received outstanding service, and I had an excellent dining experience. My server Maurice was thorough and provided me and my guest with a superior level of personalized service. The food was prepared as requested, seasoned well and five stars delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. It was at a good holiday celebration noise level. And the few children I observed as present were well mannered and dressed nicely for the occasion. The manager Michael Pons Jr. was hands-on and very attentive to his restaurant guests. He made me feel like a valued customer. I left Sullivan’s Steakhouse feeling fantastic, so much so, that before turning in that night I made reservations for New Year’s Eve dining.

I enjoyed a Christmas Eve meal at the ever excellent Butcher + Singer. Everything was wonderful - from a warm welcome at check in, my fabulous, attentive server, Miss Brandy and, of course, the perfectly prepared food. Dining at Butcher + Singer is always a treat, but this particular meal will always be remembered as extra special. Thank you for another exceptional experience!

Christmas Eve service was even better than a typical day. Plenty of specials to choose from. While you wouldn’t be surprised if the pace was a little hustled for early closing,,, NO WAY, the management and staff were most accommodating and we weren’t rushed at all. Can’t wait to return … NEXT MONTH!

New menu items continue to surprise! The chopped Greek salad is really great, and it’s huge. I almost always have either filet or a pork chop, but I decided to try rack of lamb for the first time and really enjoyed it. There was a lot of tender, juicy meat with a delicious char. My wife’s shrimp cocktail and crab cakes were up to their usual high standard, as was staff, service, and setting. It was a fine Christmas Eve meal for sure!

My family and I have dined at Del Frisco's many times, and our experience there never disappoints! Our server, Michael, was just fantastic and when we return we will be requesting one of his tables. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve dinner so wonderful!
