We recently celebrated our anniversary at Mastro’s in Thousand Oaks, and it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was elegant and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a special evening. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure every detail was just right. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the wine selection was impressive. For dinner, we indulged in the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and the buttery lobster mashed potatoes were a decadent treat. Of course, we couldn’t leave without ordering the famous butter cake—an absolute must-try! The entire evening felt luxurious and celebratory, and we truly appreciated the impeccable service and attention to detail. It is a fantastic treat to have cocktails and dinner at this Iconic restaurant. Pete the Matre D is warm and welcoming. It was very awesome the people were so lovely there and the place was marvelous and the services was very good as well

Food and ambiance were excellent. Service was slow and a little inattentive. Our reservation was at 5pm and we were sat very quickly but we did not leave the restaurant until almost 8pm because our server would leave us unattended for an extended amount of time.

favorite restaurant in the whole of Los Angeles my only Comment is the music techno music in the middle of the day was drowning , yes, but he heard it too loud say him … I did hear a Tony Bennett song in the middle of that so I’m not sure maybe a afternoon crowd at 2 o’clock older. Otherwise, as always food with exceptional service, exceptional tablecloth crisp white , clean . delicious bread great service. And not gouging of prices since the beginning of the year, I appreciate that.
