Waiters professional, attentive and precise on making sure I was comfortable with the suggested table for dinner. Attentitive but not bothersome. Made sure all was well with my order and my comfort level—not to mention, of course, the food, my order was deliciousness at its best. I will return for a repeat. Evening was very enjoyable. I had the pepper New York steak with peppercorn sauce cooked medium rare. I was very disappointed with the pepper steak. It was cooked perfectly medium rare but it was very tough as though it was cooked extra well done. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom which was excellent. The desserts were apple bread pudding and baked Alaska and both were delicious. I still would recommend this restaurant because of the service and ambience but wouldn’t recommend the pepper steak. Steaks were delicious and came with potatoes and asparagus. After the meal, the server comes around with a cart for a complimentary cordial. We all chose the port.
