Best Steakhouses in Westampton

My wife’s birthday was immediately acknowledged by rose petals and a card on the table. The sushi roll was fantastic. We split a bone in wagyu strip steak, not sure if it was worth the money for it was no better that standard USDA high choice. Our baked potato was cold. The restaurant was unusually quiet, but it was a cold January week night. The waiter bought us complementary glasses of wine and cake for her birthday. It’s her favorite place and her choice, we will return.

My experience at Ocean Prime Philadelphia was amazing. This was my first time visiting an Ocean Prime location and I definitely would return to this one. Upon walking in and being seated, I immediately noticed the decor. The lighting was perfect and the music had a great playlist at a reason volume. My girlfriend and I were quickly greeted by a staff member, whose name I unfortunately forgot. He made sure we had water and bread to start (a young Black male). He turned us over to our main waiter, but continued to check in periodically through our time at the restaurant. Our main waiter was Avery. He was very friendly and attentive. He even asked the occasion, which was my birthday. He made the staff aware and they came with a treat, adorned by a candle, at the end of the dinner. Everything I consumed was delicious. The food was great, complemented by cocktails that were excellently made. It made for an amazing birthday dinner.

We visited on a cold, blustery Wednesday evening for Center City Restaurant Week. We arrived a little early before our reservation, so we sat at the bar for a drink and an appetizer. The ambiance is stunning. High vaulted ceilings, romantic dim lighting, and beautiful architecture that creates a warm, vibrant atmosphere. Our bartenders were personable, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menus. The oysters casino were delicious! I haven't seen oysters prepared this way before, like clams casino. We were promptly seated at our table downstairs in a cozy booth. Our server Erica was wonderful, checking on us frequently and meeting every need we could possibly have. We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu, 3 courses for $60, which is a great deal. The dynamite shrimp were our favorite! We could have made a meal out of that appetizer. they were sweet with the right amount of kick. The meatball was very good as well. My 8 oz filet was outstanding! A beautiful cut of meat cooked to perfection that melted in your mouth. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his double bone in pork chop, a substantial cut of meat. The sweet potato casserole was to die for. We ordered without marshmallow. For dessert, we ended with the chocolate mousse and butter cake. The chocolate mousse was very good and rich. I would highly recommend the butter cake. It was lightly crisp on the outside and creamy deliciousness on the inside. Portions were small for dessert but perfect for one. The coffee to accompany our dessert was hot and rich like I prefer. The manager rounded on patrons, making sure everything was perfect. As I am writing this review, I am plotting when can I go back? It was a perfect evening and we left very pleased and happy. This restaurant is good for couples, groups, and single diners. I would highly recommend for a beautiful night out.

Another fantastic, over the top experience at Butcher and Singer for my husband’s birthday last night. Nine years in a row, we have come to celebrate along with a group of friends and there’s simply no reason we’d consider switching it up. Service is always perfection (especially if you’re lucky enough to have Brian assigned to your table!), the apps, sides, steaks (and newly added Chilean sea bass!!!) are all out of this world, and the carefully crafted cocktails are well worth it. Of every premier steakhouse in the city, this is THE one.
