Best Steakhouses in Point Grey/UBC

Excellent evening- HUGE dessert- and superbly looked after by our server Stella. Definitely recommended.

I usually go there with friends every 3 weeks or so and the steaks are always very good. But last night my dad had a sirloin steak med rare and was tough , he is not a complainer but I can see some meat he wasn’t able to chew, but he ate most of them. My mom’s fries were cold. But they are in their 80’s and didn’t want to complain but when the manager came by and asked I told her. She was very nice and took off the 2 appetizers of the bill. She was very professional and that 1 thing I like about keg over other steak house. Of course even Granville island steak house is not as nice as the one on our alberni street it is still my favorite and I will keep going there.

It was so perfect dinner and our server was so professional actually my friend order medium rare but i looked like blue rare🥺 we told our server she helped to re-cook it Lobster soup and dessert was awesome This is my first experience in The keg, i think i will visit more than 3 times before i go back to my country Thank u so much for giving great dinner to me

Our server was excellent. She was present exactly when needed. The usual fare (for me) was cheese toast, caesar salad, and steak. Today, being lunch, we opted for the "Special", which was three different cuts of steak, plus prawns and a veg and potato medley. It was flavourful and gave us a variety to our meal. It was my guest's first time at Hy's. It won't be his last, that's for sure. He loved the room, along with his meal, and service.

We live over 60km away from Gotham, but we never hesitate to make the trek for any special occasion. I take great pride in my own steak cooking skills, so I won’t usually buy a steak anywhere to avoid being disappointed by an overpriced cut. But Gotham is not that! All of their cuts are of the absolute best quality you can find, and cooked to absolute perfection. It is the only place I will go for a good steak dinner. Always my number one choice.
