- DDallasOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoTokyo Noir felt like a classy bar more akin to New York than a Long Beach alleyway. Between 5 drinks and 2 appetizers, nothing fell short of expectations, and most exceeded them. The service was intimate and engaging. The ambiance was unique and hard to find in this part of town. I thoroughly enjoyed the small capacity and do not like an overcrowded bar. It was classy and elegant - perfect for a date. I will definitely be coming back (if I can get another reservation, that is).More infoTokyo NoirPrice: Moderate• Speakeasy• Long Beach•4.9
- WWillyvipOrange County •31 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe recently had the pleasure of dining at King’s Fish House in Long Beach, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm that set the tone for the evening. Our waiter, Francisco, truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable meal. His attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience was evident throughout the night. He not only kept our glasses full but also made sure our table was clear of any clutter. It was clear that he and his co-workers were well-trained and worked seamlessly as a team, making sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. One of the highlights of our visit was the tranquility of dining on a Monday night. The restaurant was pleasantly less crowded but had an abundance of attentive staff. This perfect combination allowed us to enjoy a leisurely meal, where we didn’t feel rushed and could savor the delightful seafood offerings. The menu at King’s Fish House is a seafood lover’s dream, with fresh catches and expertly prepared mouthwatering dishes. Every bite was a testament to the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. With each savory dish, it was apparent why this place had such a loyal following. I wholeheartedly recommend making a Monday night reservation at King’s Fish House. You’ll benefit from the superb service and delight in a more relaxed atmosphere that allows for great conversation and enjoyment. With a stellar team like Francisco and the rest of the waitstaff, it’s clear that this location prioritizes a top-notch dining experience. In short, King’s Fish House in Long Beach exceeded all expectations. Between the delicious food, attentive service, and the perfect ambiance, it’s a place I look forward to returning to week after week. Thank you, Francisco and team, for an unforgettable evening!More infoKing's Fish House - Long BeachPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Long Beach•4.7
- WwoovipLos Angeles •24 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024Although I’m a regular and don’t really like trying new chefs today i had a wonderful experience with chef CINCO. Very nice and well mannered chef. He cooked the food very well and also kept us entertained. Only issue i have comes from another party at the next table giving the chef a hard time and making the other guest uncomfortable. He cooked the food very well didn’t second guess anything i asked for and engaged in small talk. If i could give him 10 stars i would he was that great and I’ll enjoy his food anytime of the day. Go chef CINCO!!!!!More infoBenihana - Downey, CAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Downey / Norwalk / Santa Fe Springs•4.3
