Best Sushi Restaurants in Los Alamitos / Cypress

Roy's is indescribable! I don't say that about too many eateries but this one is the exception. We've been following this chain prior to Covid. Unfortunately, my Pasadena location didn't make it through the pandemic. However, Anaheim is nothing short of exceptional. Try anything! You are guaranteed to love it. But it you are a steak person like me, go with the filet mignon and mash. Be prepared to fall in love - it'll be inevitable.

Nobu's never disappoints. Absolutely delicious food and outstanding service. It's pricey but well worth it. We usually only go for birthdays and other special occasions. We were a party of 6 with one person having a gluten and shrimp allergy and although the menu isn't marked with GF, or GS, the staff is always excellent on guiding to what is GF and which dishes can be made GF. Each time they came to the table with another dish, they always said if it was free from shrimp and gluten and made a point of saying which dishes were not GF. Absolutely one of our favorite places for the last 25 years or so, both the Malibu and Newport locations, and it still is.

super nice experience. took my boyfriend for his birthday and they treated us super well. it wasn’t loud at all and the atmosphere is really nice. our waitress Nicole was super kind and patient.

The food and service are amazing! The best part of our visits to Roku at Fashion Island is the welcome we receive from Juney the Manager. He makes one feel that he’s welcoming guests to his home with a warm greeting and a friendly chat. He’s always appreciative that we have come to Roku and makes one feel as if we’re part of his family. An amazing guy! His staff speak so highly of him and it’s clear that he’s created a great workplace environment to work. I recommend that when you’re in Newport Beach you visit Roku and see and taste for yourself!

The vent at the tepan table we were on wasn’t working so all the smoke was in our face. Other than that the cook was awesome and food was good.
