- NSNathanSMaine •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had been wanting to have dinner at Jaleo for the past few years and finally got to go tonight for my wife’s birthday dinner. Let me start off by saying that it lived up to and exceeded our expectations. We had the mid-range tasting menu with the sherry pairing and every bite was delicious. Our experience was enhanced by our server Carlos’ knowledgeable description of each course and each of the sherries. We look forward to coming back.More infoJaleo - DCPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7

The restaurant is beautiful, great for small or large groups, the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. I have celebrated multiple birthday's at this location (including most recent one this past November), had dinner with my family, and HHs with friends. You can't go wrong with Ambar in Clarendon! Highly recommend visiting this location, and eventually making your way to their other locations too :)More infoAmbar - ArlingtonPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Arlington•4.5
- LLamiWashington, D.C. Area •16 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI was here in the summer for the first time and really liked the food and the service. Walter our server then recommended a really good bottle of wine. I returned this time to celebrate a friends birthday. The hostess who greeted us was friendly and welcoming, and we were seated immediately. I was pleased to see that Walter was our server and again recommended an excellent wine. The food was fabulous. We ordered multiple tapas for our group of five and each dish was excellent. Walter has a great personality and is very knowledgeable about the wide variety on the menu. All our dishes came out in a timely fashion with no delays. The noise level was moderately loud as the restaurant was completely full. The lamb, grilled octopus, peppers stuffed with beef, the cod fritters, veggies grilled with goat cheese , chorizo, papas bravas and the flan for dessert — all delicious. We never felt rushed and left 3 hours later, like the last time. Had another great experience.More infoSERPrice: Moderate• Traditional Spanish• Arlington•4.7
