- MMadelineNew Orleans / Louisiana •4 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Boqueria W 40th Street. We were visiting NYC and had purchased tickets to see Hamilton on Broadway. We wanted to find a spot for a light dinner that we could enjoy early since the show was starting at 7. This place was recommended and we decided to give it a try. It was perfect- we shared about 6 or 7 tapa plates. The cheese plate, 2 orders of pimientos de padron (SO GOOD), the gambas al ajillo, bacon wrapped dates, boquerones with citrus, etc. Everything was amazing! I think our least favorite was the bacon wrapped dates. Nothing wrong with them, but the other tapas outshined in our opinion. We were surprised to realize it was happy hour when we arrived (I think 4-6pm), we ordered a pitcher of sangria- great pricing!! And then each had an espresso "mini martini" at the end. I felt the prices were great and the service was good.More infoBoqueria West 40th StreetPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Midtown West•4.5
