Best Tapas Restaurants in Barking

We originally booked a table for the wine tasting, but due to the lack of information on the site we couldn't find the part that said the wine tasting started at 7 30pm and since we have never been we booked a table, we were not happy when we turned up at 4 30 that not only wa the wine tasting at 7 30pm but the fact that the website also messed up booking availability because they didn't even open until 5pm. I was devastated, but Bernadette who was working that day absolutely saved the day with her amazing service and attitude and if not for her we wouldn't of even have stayed or enjoyed ourselves as much. This is our third or fourth time of dining here and as always the staff were lovely and very accommodating. We arrived a little late for our booking but they found us a nice table with no fuss even though it was quite busy. The food is great. One slight gripe was with the ‘special’ that we ordered. This was a prawn and pine nut dish, which sounded great and tasted okay, but most of the flavour was on the shells. I feel that a little more work could be done on the no and low alcohol cocktails. The one I tried (ginger ice) was very unbalanced - very citrusy with no sweetness to counteract that….& no discernible ginger. On the other hand the espresso martini and Adonis were very nice

This is a wonderful restaurant. The staff are friendly and were incredibly accommodating to our grumpy 2 year old. The food is outstanding, possibly the best octopus I've ever eaten. Really great experience, would definitely recommend

Overall is good, the waiter is nice and friendly. We had requested to change a table with a better light, they accepted and changed. The price is not bad, but it would be great if more main meals choice.
