- NNatalieVIPSan Diego •4 reviews4.0Dined todayWe opted for the Kaiseki experience, which consisted of five courses with smaller but filling portions, starting with a sake pairing. The first course, spicy tuna crispy rice, was a highlight—perfectly crunchy, slightly spicy, and packed with flavor. For the second course, I had the New York strip and shrimp yakitori skewers. The New York strip was tender and delicious, but the shrimp skewers fell short, lacking flavor and coming across as underwhelming. The third course, wild mushroom polenta with truffle oil, was quite tasty. The drizzle of honey added a pleasant sweetness to balance the savory flavors. The fourth course featured two sushi rolls—the Kraken roll and Japanese flying saucer. Unfortunately, both rolls were overly heavy on rice with minimal filling, resulting in a lackluster bite that felt more like eating seasoned rice than sushi. The final course, “Some More” churros, were slightly dry but still enjoyable thanks to the chocolate and marshmallow sauce—hard to go wrong with churros. Cocktails were visually appealing and well-crafted, adding to the overall experience. I overall do recommend booking the Kaiseki experience as it was fun, creative, and tasty, but I would likely not repeat after experiencing.More infoBotanicaPrice: Moderate• Japanese• North Park•4.6
- MMaxToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMothership is an exceptionally unique dining experience, featuring creative vegetarian dishes and delightful cocktails. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to elevate a date night, or impress the friend group. Please note, the meal can feel rushed at times as they only seat for 1.5-2 hours at a time as the place is incredibly busy.More infoMOTHERSHIPPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• North Park•4.8
- EErickSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoOrdered the 12 oz steak and salmon, overall steak was really and salmon was decent. The steak was done and seasoned very well. The asparagus was a bit dry. Salmon was good but the rice and beans were ok.. The cheese board is AMAZING! An individual is enough for two. Drinks are also really good and worth having two or three! Would recommend to come with friends and family. Especially if you have parties of 4 or more.More infoBarrel & Board SocialPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hillcrest•4.8

Very busy time for Little Italy the Friday night after Christmas but the staff handled the customers with charm! Our dinners were delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Chicken Marsala had a wonder creamy sauce and the spicy Campanelle Sausage dish was perfection! We sat outside under a great heater and enjoyed the passerby's and the excitement of the street.More infoMimmo's Italian VillagePrice: Expensive• Italian• Little Italy•4.5
