- JJoanneVIPChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined todayFood was a bit over sauced but intriguing flavors. My group of 6 was expecting more typical pairings of flavors. We were asked by our server to order 2 dishes each and eat family style. In terms of portions, I think ordering one appetizer and one entree is probably more adequate amount of food. We ordered too much food. The chicken breast was a bit overpowering with the roasted garlic. We loved the homemade Naan and Shrimp salad. We sat outside and the heaters kept us warm and were thankful that it was quieter to allow conversation,More infoGirl & the Goat L.A.Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
- RRoseTahoe / Reno Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoSo much fun! Definitely a place to get dressed up and take the cutest photos. The tea was so yummy, the food was also really good. I would say be aware it can get pricy fast, as there is a mandatory minimum purchase of 40~ dollars per person. Though they are understanding if someone isn’t hungry and doesn’t want to purchase anything. I myself ended up spending 60$ for an eggs Benedict + tea + scone. Overall, it was a fun experience especially for the birthday!More infoMadeline Garden Bistro & VenuePrice: Moderate• French American• Pasadena•4.5

- HHectorLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024If you're craving authentic Japanese food, Shin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya in Alhambra is a must-visit! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an authentic vibe that transports you straight to Japan. I started with their famous Japanese meat skewers—absolutely delicious! The yakitori was perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The flavors were spot-on, and each skewer was a delightful burst of savory goodness. Next, I had the ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a great depth that comes from hours of careful preparation. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings (from soft-boiled eggs to tender slices of pork) really elevated the dish. It's easily one of the best ramen bowls I've had. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a glass of cold sake. It was smooth and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, everything was great. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly without sacrificing quality. Whether you're a fan of yakitori or ramen, this place does it right. I’ll definitely be back for more!More infoShin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya - AlhambraPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Alhambra•4.8
