The ambience in the place is what I'd call very cozy. It's not that big, but bustling everywhere. Still, it's a vibe. Off in the background the bartenders are singing whatever 2000s pop song they're blasting at the moment. It's great carefree energy if you're up for it. Food was delicious and came out in perfect timing. Drink menu was extensive and not at all familiar for I think most Americans -- which I love! Give me something refreshingly different! They even gave us free shots with our check and kindly hoped we enjoyed ourselves and that they'd love to see us again. Restaurants like this deserve your business. My spouse and I agreed that the hot dog was probably the best hot dog we'd ever had. The pork dumplings were also outstanding - tangy, slightly spicy with yuzu and greens on top. The mussels were solid, with a delicious sauce, which we didn't waste a drop of. Cocktails were excellent and creative. I don't normally go for sweet cocktails, but the strawberry cheesecake was outstanding.
