This evening, I had the privilege of dining at Moon Restaurant in Darlinghurst, Sydney, to surprise my partner for their birthday. It was truly a night to remember, filled with incredible food, impeccable service, and unforgettable surprises. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was flawless. The two lovely ladies and the gentleman at the front greeted us with such warmth, and our waitress made sure every moment felt special. And of course, the chef deserves high praise for creating a menu that was both artistic and astonishing. The food was beyond amazing—every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece that continued to surprise us. One highlight of the evening was the candle trout pâté. At first glance, I thought it was a simple candle, so I asked the waitress to light it for us. To my astonishment, it turned out to be an edible candle, melting into a luscious pâté to spread on bread! What an innovative and delightful twist—it perfectly encapsulated the creativity and artistry of Moon’s cuisine. Each dish is an experience in itself, designed to amaze and delight from the first bite to the last. I highly recommend Moon Restaurant to anyone who loves extraordinary dining experiences. Best green papaya salad I have ever had. Great Mango cocktail. Pad Thai version beautiful presentation and tasty-just needed more heat!
