- BBrittanyNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFirstly, Stephen and Kristina were the absolute best! They are the perfect example of the stellar service you hope to receive at a restaurant like The Capital Grille. Kristina was very knowledgeable about wine pairings for my steak, recommended such a delicious red, and was so pleasant and personable. Steven was also very kind, upbeat and gave us all the good vibes one likes to be around during the Holidays. On to the food: My mother and I shared the Caesar salad to start. Delicious! Such a light and flavorful dressing. The croutons were wildly tasty too. I had the jumbo lump crab cocktail as well, with an incredible mustard sauce. Fantastic. My mother had the roasted chicken entree and loved it. I had the filet mignon with a side of Sam’s mashed potatoes. I assure you, you’ve never had such smooth, rich, creamy mashed potatoes in your life! For dessert, I chose their espresso martini. Best in the city. I’m not kidding. This entire experience was simply delightful. Service, food, ambiance, and general pace of dinner were all 10/10. Thank you! We cannot wait to return. Happy Holidays!More infoThe Capital Grille – NY – MetLifePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Midtown East•4.8
- DDuncanNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLast minute Friday night dinner reservation for 3 of us. Had drinks up on the 14th floor and then needed food. Place looked nice so we went in. Was not a mistake. Best steak I have had in a while and the peppercorn sauce was delightful so that gets a call out. Price was a little high on the drinks which drove the overall cost up and the overall value down. Overall, would happily come back here again.More infoMadison & VinePrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.5
- RRenaeAustin •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoPleasantly surprised by the ambience and quality of food. We had a happy hour and dinner, and I was concerned that the dinner would be too casual, but it's a separate space from the lunch space, trendy and appropriate for business dinners. The service was outstanding from the time we walked in to the time we left. Everyone was very happy with the food. Highly recommend this spot.More infoPark Ave Kitchen by David BurkePrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.5
