Best Wineries in North Las Vegas

I had the filet mignon, my husband had the salmon, we shared the lobster mac and cheese, and the waiter brought us samples of the lobster bisque. I had their signature pineapple martini and my husband had a rye Manhattan served martini style. Everything was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!! The food, drinks and service were all spot on! We love The Capital Grill in general, and last nights meal was among the best we’ve ever had!

Our first time, and it won’t be our last!! We moved from Chicago last year, and loved our higher end Italian restaurant (s) - it’s Chicago…so there are lots!! Amari definitely would fit in! The daily specials looked amazing! We started with Caesar’s Salad and Carpaccio. Both were excellent! There were four of us dining. We had : Lasagna, Boar Bolognese, Lobster Ravioli and chicken piccata. All were served beautifully and were sooo tasty!! For dessert we had 3 Tiramisu lol They have an extensive wine menu. We had a blended red and their house Sauvignon Blanc. This is NOT your local Olive Garden or Bucca….expect to pay for a high quality meal. I can’t wait to come back!

2024Dec25Wed: Christmas Day celebration dinner at one of our definitely favorite family-owned Italian restaurants in the valley. As locals, we can certainly take pride in this local award winning gem of a place worthy of recommendation. This has been our “go to” Italian restaurant for any occasions and whenever we have out-of-town guests . We’ve been here numerous times and have been trying different dishes and have been impressed with their consistency of high level of quality of flavor and ingredients that comes from their kitchen. The restaurant looks very classy and sophisticated yet warm, welcoming and casual. Service is always on point from every staff member who gave us hand and foot service! This evening was exquisite and even more special with the attention given to us by Excecutive Chef & Owner Mimmo Ferraro. The dishes we had were totally of high quality in taste and flavor - so delightful that Chef Mimmo was even accommodating and prepared us a dish “to go” that is not on the menu. Chef Mimmo was so gracious to come to our table several times and gave us as complimentary his signature house made desserts. What a Christmas dinner to remember !!!! We’ll be back soon!!!

Reservation was for Christmas Eve and it was very delightful. They presented a smaller menu but enough variety to easily make choices. We shared their charcuterie board which was excellent. I asked for a particular wine which they didn’t have, but the server was knowledgeable and suggested an equal substitute. For main entree, I had Dover Sole. Nice presentation and although a little lemony, it was still delicious. This is a beautiful restaurant, especially during the day when you can enjoy the view of the lake. Highly recommend!

Such a fun experience with a Butler Service brunch. Delicious food. Great service.
