Da Capo contemporary interpretations of Italian classics are always made to order from scratch. Our seasonal menu highlights the quality of the freshest ingredients from local farms and our New York Style thin crust pizza is already a favorite all over Litchfield County. Da Capo brings to Connecticut a recipe found in Little Italy in the early 1900's: "Authentic New York Style Thin Crust Pizza". Great food and staff is very nice. The food was outstanding will return. I had the chicken Cesar the romaine were fresh and chicken had a nice grill. The pizza with pepperoni and hot oil was amazing. My father in law had the lasagna was fresh and nice big portion. Desert was fresh had the tiramisu was fresh and excellent.

We were seated at a four top directly across from the bar which was a tight fit for folks going in and out. Possibly the worst table in the whole place but we've dined here several times before so didn't think much of it. Appetizers were great, dinners just okay. It was busy so the service was a bit slow. The waiter was nice.

This is what I call an old school Italian restaurant. Just great Italian basic food like spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, chicken parm and pizzas. Our single serving portions were not only delicious but large enough to have leftovers for another dinner to take home. They even offer family size portions. Our waiter was attentive and friendly but not overly so which was a nice balance. We don't live in the area but this restaurant is becoming a must stop when we are visiting locally. Just make a reservation because it is almost always very busy.
