    Da Maurizio offers two private rooms. The first and largest room hosts up to 45 people and is completely closed off from the remainder of the restaurant by sliding frosted glass doors. This room has access to our outdoor patio for summer functions and has its own private washrooms. The second private room is secluded and hosts up to 25 people. It is a smaller and cozy room that is separated from the other diners by our bar area and a small flight of steps. Both rooms are perfect for business meetings, weddings, family celebrations and continuing education programs. Also, both rooms are suitable should you require audio/visual equipment for your event. Custom menus are available for both rooms.

    Lovely dinner with attentive service. Pastas were very good but the salads even better. Lovely Old Fashioned and Barbone (?) red wine.

    Always a great New Year’s Eve, the food was great, bar service was fast with just the right amount of time between courses. Some tables can be a little noisy - depending on your neighbors - however that’s something you experience at every resturant.

    Dined at Da Maurizio for New Years Eve. Kelly was our waiter. Exceptional service!!! Delious food, perfect wine and cocktails. They always go out of their way to ensure everyone has an amazing experience. 5 plus star rating

    Our dinner choices (sustainable blue salmon and lamb) were excellent. However, our seating was atrocious- in the back, next to the "water closet," the coat rack, the bar, and a station for the wait staff. Oh, and there was an almost constant train of people coming and going from the entry to the downstairs section and to and from the water closet. Advice: DO go to da Maurizio for the fabulous food, drinks, and service, but do NOT sit at Table #31!

    Halifax has many dining establishments but da Maurizio was one of the best service experiences we’ve had. The staff was extremely friendly and service was great! The noise level was up a little but that was due to a private function in the private room off of the dining area. Wonderful experience and we would certainly go again!
