   The bang shrimp was great. We all had the special halibut topped with pistachio over farro with sweet potatoes red peppers was delicious. Alex is a terrific server.

   Overall, very pleasant experience. It wasn't crowded because it was on a weekday. The service was outstanding. We didn't feel rushed. I've dined there before and I will definitely go back. I did call ahead to make a reservation because I have gone there without a reservation and the only seating was at the bar.

   HAD LOBSTER BISQUE, FIELD GREEN SALAD, SHRIMP SCAMPI APPETIZER, AND THE CRAB CAKES WITH ASPARAGUS, GREEN BEANS, AND CAULIFLOWER AU GRATIN. EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING. THESE CRAB CAKES ARE THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD.

   After reading all the rave reviews, we were kind of underwhelmed. We felt like the waiter did not want to bother with us since we didn't order an appetizer or drinks. We were never given bread although we noticed other tables had it. We did ask but maybe the waiter didn't hear. The steak was not as tender as I expected and some of the seafood was borderline not cooked enough. It was also freezing in the restaurant. It felt like someone left the door open.

   Food was fresh, hot and flavorful with nice sauces and charred, crisp vegetables. Don’t miss the jalapeño-honey biscuits as a starter. Sea bass, mahi mahi and orecchiette all excellent. The spicy creole gumbo got great reviews as well spiced with just enough but not too much heat (we like some heat). We did have a service fail-the table started with a shared bottle of white. Well in advance, my husband ordered a glass of red to accompany his steak. It did not arrive in time until he was done eating, despite our numerous requests. When finally arrived, we sent it away, and we were not charged, but it took away from our other wise enjoyable evening.

   The server and food was excellent, however the host at the front desk was rude and unkind. We asked at the front desk why we were not seated for our 6:0O pm reservation and were told that the table we had was not ready and since we had an infant the table that was ready was not appropriate. We were finally ushered to our table at 6:30 pm and it was set for 6 people and not 7 + an infant. When I went to ask about our table, the host rudely told me that it was for 7 adults and you showed up with a baby. I had to ask for a place setting for the 7th adult. We have dined at the restaurant before and had returned to celebrate my husband’s birthday with family. We did not expect this unprofessional conduct from the host. Again the food was excellent but tainted by how we were treated.

    The food, as usual, was very good. Unfortunately the fish was way too salty. There is seasoning, but this was over salted.
