The best Indian food I have had in decades. A very enjoyable experience and a solid value. Also, the owners are both charming and are clearly enjoying themselves.

The interior incorporates an array of whitewashed masonry, murals and glazed tile, as well as plenty of photographs that adorn the walls. Food was good. Entries came in fast but main dishes took a little longer. Great waiter service. Green soup which is one of my favorites was missing a distinctive flavor I could not taste this time. Pulpo a la Galleta was great!

Testal has become an absolute gem at their downtown location. It’s like the oasis needed in a hectic area of CDMX. Had to start my meal with a nopales salad and also had to try their season special, Chiles en Nogada!! That I can confirm are the best in town! Thank you everyone at Testal for making my meal a memorable experience!!
