Alfonso Salazar, better known as “Dirty Al” originally started shrimping as a young man with his father and 6 brothers. In 2003, he and his youngest son, Cameron, who graduated from Culinary School, transformed his bait stand into a restaurant where together they have been known for having “The World’s Best Fried Shrimp”! In 2005, his other two sons returned home to help grow the business. Food was excellent. The two glasses of French blend wine was superb. Two of our party were impressed with the very tasty Old Fashions The timing of the various parts of our meal was seamless. Our waitress, Blossom, was very good, informed, attentive, and personable. The bussing crew was very efficient and helpful without being intrusive. The only downside for us was the fireplace was lit on a rather chilly night, which was appropriate, but my wife has asthma and so it caused her some discomfort. Nevertheless, we were able to have a lovely dinner and conversation with friends, so the evening was quite enjoyable.
