We had a fantastic experience at the chefs table! The food and staff were all amazing. Highly recommend for great food and a fun experience! We had some dietary restrictions due to pregnancy, and they were awesome at accommodating easily!

For our 33rd anniversary, we decided to fly to Honolulu to attend the Opening Night of Cirque du Soleil’s Auana and then try Mugen Restaurant for Breakfast the following morning. We wanted to see if it was worth the trip to return for Dinner and the full experience at a later date. We were not disappointed. Ralph and Gerric served us - while also answering all of our questions about the dinner menu and service. The breakfast fare was amazing! It was fun to watch the morning chefs select fresh cuttings of herbs from their indoor hydroponic herb garden. The food was healthy and prepared beautifully. The mango chicken sausages were plated with fresh edible marigolds. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. Located in Paia, Maui, we invite you to dine in our intimate, all Chef's Table dining room. Our everchanging Market Driven Menus always include a glass of sparkling wine, are Prix-Fixe, between 6-8 courses and range from $230-$300 per person plus tax, gratuity and any additional alcohol.

RESERVATIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: If you are late, please call to let us know. We will make every attempt to catch you up, but we absolutely cannot make any guarantees on coursing and pacing. Reservations are STRICTLY held by Credit Card. Cancellations within 48 hours of the reservation will be charged $200 per guest, WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. Please allow at least 2.5 hours for dinner. Always a wonderful dining experience at Honu. Food quality and presentation are outstanding and our server, Gerry, made great recommendations. Gerry and the kitchen staff also created a relaxed flow of courses - which allowed us to fully enjoy our evening. Mahalo Honu!

We have 3 Omakase seatings daily... 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm or 7:30 pm. Any allergies will need to be noted prior to the reservation date, so a special menu can be prepared. (We cannot accommodate the guest with all shellfish allergy, vegetarian, Kosher, gluten intolerance, or if you do not like uni)

Owner was really friendly and funny guy. Large portions and great quality. Get there early if you wanna get a good seat. Owner does a little stand up during the experience. Overall would come back again

A dining experience to remember. If you are looking for more than just a meal this restaurant and are in for a culinary memory - then La Mer is worth all the hype. The service was absolutely top notch and we loved our time there.
