Wonderful ocean view, and outstanding meal. We shared a wedge salad with homemade blue cheese dressing. Ribeye and prime rib were our choices… both outstanding. Monica was the best waitress we’ve had anywhere in years. She was a mind reader.

This is one of the better Benihana’s. We visited on Christmas and I found the service to be amazing, especially on such a busy time. The food matched the service!

Elizabeth and I were very excited to open our restaurant in Downtown Stuart. After years of visiting our parents our hearts led us back here each time we considered a different location. Our son Taylor (our Executive Chef) and I, both have a culinary education and all three of us are extremely passionate about quality food,drinks and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoy taking great care of our guests. “the Gafford” is named after my grandparents who taught us how to enjoy life, have fun and laugh (especially at ourselves). My grandfather was in the Air Force and hospitality business all of his life and taught me so much about business, cooking and hospitality. I can remember when I was young visiting my grandparents on their farm. My grandfather used to teach me how to grill. My favorite dish to cook together was a giant Ribeye steak. On our menu, that is our signature item and we call it “the Gafford.” Welcome to the Gafford where casual meets upscale.

They were super accommodating to change from outside seating to inside (outside was covered but with toddler outside during rain, wouldn’t have been good). The waiter was attentive and responsive. Order came out correct. Food and drinks tasted great! Overall very happy!

From the moment we walked in and for the rest of the evening, we had a superb time. Our waiter, Naji, a combat veteran, treated us like kings and queens. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is electric. This is a definite must try if you’re not been here before, and also a definite must repeat if you have. the lamb lollipops, and the seafood dishes are superior. The appetizers offer a great selection, and they are all extremely tasty and diversified. There is something for everyone. Thank you to the entire team for giving us such a wonderful Christmas Eve. I liked it much better this time as I haven’t visited in a while. The food and service were very good and the atmosphere ( lighting) was dimmer so that was good. Will definitely visit again!

We had a great HH at Sophia’s and the service was amazing too! Our server, Brie checked in politely throughout the evening. We started with the fish dip platter. It was delicious, served with fresh pita, celery and cucumber wedges. I had grilled mahi taco trio and it was excellent! My friend had a great looking flatbread that she enjoyed so much that she took half home with her! Strongly recommend Sophia’s!

Attended happy hour it was great and then sat for a fab dinner. Carl the owner checked to make sure we enjoyed everything and was very personal. Highly recommend. Will go back regularly.
