It was a beautiful drive and only took a little over an hour. The space was warm and inviting, with fantastic views of the golf course and the rolling hills outside. Upscale without being stuffy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. Steak was cooked perfectly and the Lobster Benedict we'll be dreaming about for weeks to come. Absolutely fabulous! The food, the service- everything.
The views of Primland’s rolling fairways and verdant forest landscapes could easily distract if the cuisine and generous interiors at Leatherflower did not command your full attention. Savor refined seasonal dishes that highlight native ingredients from Primland’s own farm and greenhouse, as well as the local mills, farms and suppliers. Floral grasscloth wallpaper, wooden beams, an ever-glowing fireplace and intimate seating arrangements with custom upholstered banquettes and chairs capture the spirit of a whimsical Virginia inn while diners partake in an exceptional culinary journey through the tastes of Appalachia.

We drove up from Winston-Salem, NC for the day and had Mothers' Day Brunch at Leatherflower. It was a beautiful drive and only took a little over an hour. The space was warm and inviting, with fantastic views of the golf course and the rolling hills outside. Upscale without being stuffy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. Steak was cooked perfectly and the Lobster Benedict we'll be dreaming about for weeks to come. Will definitely be coming back to try dinner.

Everything is true to the time period at King’s Arms Tavern, from the fashion sported by servers to the pewter candlesticks—all adding to an air of colonial elegance. Inspired by 18th-century recipes, but with updates to suit 21st-century tastes, tuck in to a chophouse menu featuring prime rib, pork chops, and more.
ADA Accessible dining is available in the Purdie Kitchen. Please note this colonial building is separate from King’s Arms Tavern. Please check-in at the front, and our host will escort guests to the Purdie Kitchen.
The taverns are located in the Historic Area, and not on a public street. The Tavern is a short walk from the Tavern Parking lot which is on Francis Street.

L'Opossum offers dinner Tuesday-Saturday for parties of one to a maximum of six guests. Multiple reservations booked on the same night to form a group larger than six guests are not permitted and will be canceled. Reservations for parties of one to four guests are allotted 2 hours. Le Yaca began in 1964 in Courchevel, a tiny, country village in the French Alps. Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans, they told the hopeful restaurateurs they were crazy to think people would drive eight kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for three months and then decided, “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “il n’y a qu’a le faire,” which basically means, “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag, but the name caught on with customers who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States and opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought Le Yaca in 2001. Daniel worked and trained in such prestigious places as “Le Pre Catelan” and “Lenotre” in Paris; “L’Amandier” and “Roger Verge," and to top it all off, “Alain Ducass
