This is a terrible restaurant. Not enough items on the menu should be allow to call itself Tapas eatery. The waitress was rude. She argued with my party when we noticed that the food brought to the table were different than described in the menu, specifically, there were not white fish, but rather shrimps and other shell fish. She smacked the plates of the table, when we said we don't want the food, since it is how it was described on the menu. My friends have strict dietary requirement on only eating white fish. I will never go back to that place nor recommend to anyone else.

What a great find! My husband and I had dinner with another couple and we all enjoyed our meals. The appetizer anchovies brochettes was delish (I love anchovies) I had mussels in garlic sauce and I could have dipped my bread all night in that sauce . We had seafood Paella which was so fresh and just spicy enough. Since it was BYOB for four people with tip $160 that was including a really nice tip. Get the lemon mascarpone dessert that was made homemade by the cook/owner. We all left the place with a full belly but not empty wallet.

The restaurant looks not very inviting from the outside, but it is absolute worth to step inside . The menu selection is not the largest one, but all the items we tried were delicious. We had five starters, one entrée and one desert. We enjoyed each of them as they had different flavors. It is not a fancy restaurant and the toasts were a little bit burnt, but if you are into trying something new I recommend it.

This was my third visit. Modest pricing, friendly wait staff, and a chef who really cares about the food. Weekends are very busy so for the best experience go during the week, I love BYOB places because their only draw is the food. If you ask they will always provide a free white wine Sangria. Highly recommended as a casual dining venue.

This is my third visit to Don Quiote. The low prices are in no way an indicator of the high quality food. Very interesting menu with everything being really fresh and well prepared. A true gem!

We went to restaurant early (4:00)when they had just opened and were the only patrons there at the time. We felt so welcomed.. just like eating in a friends home. The tapas we had were delightful and the paella was good. I think next time I will order more tapas and skip the paella. I would love to try all of them. The presentation was so well done. We will be back next time we are in town.

Bad experience with both food and service. This place may out of business within a year at this rate. Tough meatballs and paella was nothing more than a rice mixed with chicken and seafood with no seasoning. Cheesecake was horrible. Plenty of other places to dine in Philly other than this place which I would not recommend at all.

My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day. The place was understaffed, not their fault, but it made the service slow and the people who were working were visibly stressed. It was loud, other people left without eating. I felt bad for them, but in the end, I'll never eat there again. The food was quite good, slow to come out, but that's very normal for tapas.
