   Always great eating at Dukes especially outside with the great views. We always get the same person to serve us our meal. Asia is so nice. We are locals and get a great price to eat great food.

   My sisters and I enjoyed every bit of our dining experience. In addition to food and service being excellent,(try the crab cakes and seared scallops) we were seated at a table overlooking the ocean. Beautiful view.

   I love Dukes and have been to the Waikiki location many times. But I have to say I was underwhelmed by the La Jolla location. The main problem was the service. The waitress was not attentive or helpful. We felt rushed then ignored. It might just not have been her night but it also impacted ours. Food was solid though. And yes I’ll probably come back.

   We had a wonderful dinner, sat outside, plenty warm enough, pretty restaurant, great service. We (3) decided to split a bunch of appetizers, and are glad we did. the Wedge, we split in 2, could have been split with 4, it was HUGE! Coconut Shrimp were delicious, ribs were flavorful, Ahi Tacos were the best!

   Dukes was outstanding. We were shown our table early and were given a table overlooking the Cove. The Server was very attentive and delivered our ordered food quickly. We were very happy with our experience at Dukes.

    Food was great. It is a bit loud (people noise). Was looking forward to an ocean view but even with a reservation we didn't get that. Service was excellent otherwise though. It is expensive but the drinks are not watered down. I would eat there again but I wouldn't bother with a reservation if I wanted the ocean view seating, you apparently just have to come in and wait. That's fine, just would be nice to be able to reserve it, especially if it's a special occasion.
