   We were the first ones there when it opened for brunch and the food was fabulous! Fresh and piping hot! Everything was perfect with the exception of wait staff. Our waiter and 2 others were together talking while we were out of water and coffee. It was loud. The noise level was perfect.

   10 years ago to the day we had our 29th wedding anniversary dinner here, and now its 10 years later and the service and food was as good as we remember. Thanks Emily for making our night enjoyable!

   Went to Edgar’s for our 40th wedding anniversary a few nights ago. Arrived early for our 5:30 pm reservation and were promptly seated at a table near the middle of the floor; we would have preferred a booth, but it wasn’t offered. Maybe we should have asked, but it turned out ok. There was only one other party in the restaurant at the time, a larger group seated near the kitchen. We had filet mignon and a ribeye; both were prepared as requested and were delicious. The sides were also very good (sautéed mushrooms, creamed spinach, grilled shrimp, and grilled asparagus). We each had a glass of wine (one Cabernet and one Malbec); both were quite good. It took an unusually long time for the food to arrive, and we were told it was due to the large table near the kitchen. I suppose it’s a good thing we got there near the start of the shift; otherwise, with more tables being served, the delay may have been longer. Still, the food was excellent and the server was cheerful. The chairs are pretty hard for a long visit, which is one reason we would have preferred a booth (they are cushioned and located in a more cozy area, not in the middle). We noticed that the large table next to us had cushioned seats, but all the other tables we could see had the same hard chairs we had. Our server recognized that our reservation was for an anniversary celebration and offered a complimentary dessert; all the selections looked scrumptious. We chose the crème brûlée; it was delicious, but could have been chilled a bit longer before serving. There was a small discrepancy between our check and the menu price for the grilled shrimp side, but it was truly minor so we did not mention it. My guess is that there was a recent price increase and the menu had not been updated yet. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Next time, we’ll try one of the appetizers. Cheers!

   The food and drinks were amazing! We had great secluded seats by the bar and our server did an exceptional job in providing proper service for me and my girlfriend. As well helping make her birthday even more special to her. So we’ll definitely be back!!

   Food was great. My salad with steak added was perfect, and large! Waitress Amanda and bar staff super. Drinks were fantastic. “Hands up” was delicious. I’d be back for that alone. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation we were told it would be 35 min. When asked what the point of a reservation was I was met with “I don’t know I just work here”. I understand if things get backed up or if tables squat a little causing a delay, but that was not the response I was expecting.

   From the second we hit the restaurant we were met with exceptional service! The hostess greeted us and noted it was our anniversary, letting us know our table was all ready for us. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, gave great recommendations, and consistently checked on us. The food itself was phenomenal- highly recommend the crab stuffed catfish! Overall it was a dinner to remember!

   I have ate at Edgars a couple times before, and it was great. This time I decided to have our company Christmas dinner there. It was a good choice , several coworkers said they will be going back . Food and service was exceptional , clean environment.

    I had a reservation for a booth or table near a widow. Neither were honored and the hostess was very nonchalant and took an oh well attitude about the error. Very port service delivery on her part. Very disappointing as a friend and I were celebrating her birthday.
