We were last here a year ago and this time brought friends. The lights had just gone out in the area but they were open with temporary lighting set up, creating a very cozy setting. The servers were great, warm-hearted Puerto Rican moms and the food was great as always.

We were all ready for some amazing pasta, great wine (and not overpriced) and local flavors mixed in and it did not disappoint! brought our friends for the first time and they were blown away and how good it was. our friend who was a chef even ordered another entree just so he could taste more ;) excellent service, super friendly and accomodating and it's just such a cool inside to enjoy as well- go!!!

Thank you Open Table for guiding us to this wonderful restaurant for lunch in Old San Juan. The waiter Stephen was friendly, helpful and attentive; and, his recommendation for a local dish, fomongo, was spot on. Drinks were refreshing and ambience decidedly authentic, with amber stucco walls throughout. We chatted with a couple of locals who stated this was their favorite restaurant.

This is no doubt our favorite restaurant in old San Juan. Their lobster risotto is simply incredible, we shared it along with a Caesar salad and that was plenty. Our service was fantastic, and we love the atmosphere!

The pumpkin soup my wife had was good, as were the rice and beans I had as a side. Everything else was tasteless and poorly prepared. Service was indifferent at best. Very nice building though. Overall, a place to avoid.

Ceviche was awesome. They made awesome drinks for us too during the shift change. The new person made a little differently, but it was still good.

The food was truly terrible and overpriced. After being coached by the waiter that the things we ordered were “very good,” it turned out that my chicken mofungo was dry and overcooked. Grouper came with almost no sauce, completely boring. Service was terrible. We had three different people try to take our order. They got so confused that no one ordered anything, and we just sat and waited. After we asked twice about the food, one waiter came back and had to take our order all over again. And it was expensive! We felt like we had been robbed. Only thing going for this restaurant is the beautiful indoor courtyard. Do not go! It’s a true tourist trap.
