   Unfortunately the short rib that I ordered was half fat . I am surprised that the chef allowed it to be served . All other meals were good and the service was great .

   Had a wonderful time. Mike was our server, very informative. Food was delicious, we had the salmon and beef short rib tacos.

   The dinner menu is pricey and was NOT a top-notch meal for such a posh resort at the El Conquistador Hilton in Oro Valley AZ. Very very salty food which wrecked Both of our meals and gave us an upset stomach. We were forced to stop eating our meal. Told 3 people with no mind to our satisfaction including the manager in the hallway. Very Under-staffed, they assigned us the Bartender who bared the load of making the whole restaurant's drinks to about 40 tables and waiter to 10 tables where we were seated. Food served luke warm, waited very long to get it and had to have check brought to front counter check-in so we could leave. Food was Awful. We will never come again nor recommend this place anyone. Such a shame for this beautiful place at the mountain :( However, the Open Table reservation service was great!

   Our server was fabulous. We were hotel guests and made a reservation. We were early for the reservation and the hostess/manager said they couldn't seat us. No problem, we said we'd just go get a drink at that bar. She said that was not allowed. First time I think I have ever heard that. We went to the lobby bar, had a great drink from a bartender that created the pear martini my wife had. Very nice. And he got the tip that the bartender in the restaurant didn't! My wife had the short rib and I had the pork chop. Both cooked perfectly and very flavorful.

   Order took over an hour to arrive. Asked waiter what the problem was and all we got was I don’t know. Then after being told it’ll be right out we were then told the kitchen was backed up most of the night. Still took at least 15 more minutes to come out. Steaks arrived covered in an onion sauce(covered is putting it lightly) Ended up getting dinner comped but felt we were lied to from the get go. Not the way I wanted to spend the first Valentine’s Day with my new girlfriend. Won’t be back.
