- VValerieSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoUnassuming entrance, walk up the stairs, and wow! What a beautiful space. We had excellent service, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was amazing- we shared the French Toast and Eggs in a spicy tomato sauce (sorry! I don’t remember their Italian names). We will definitely be back.More infoChe Fico San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Italian• North Panhandle / USF•4.7

We needed to move our reservation back and they were so polite and helpful. Our wait staff was excellent, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We ordered the fried chicken, rigatoni and tavern burger and every dish was absolutely perfect. 10 out of 10 from us, so much so we bought a gift certificate on the spot to give to friends to make sure they go too!More infoWayfare TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6

I got a last minute reservation, and we will be back often…you won’t be disappointed!More infoElena'sPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Forest Hill / West Portal•4.7
- CClaraGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoExpensive but really great restaurant. Enter to a huge , chic, family style restaurant. Table for 20, table for two, open kitchen and lamb roasting on the flame. Chic but not intimidating. Warm and cozy. You will enter another universe, close to downtown SF. Food is really great, instantly making you travel in the Mediterranean sea. The food is simple but it’s working really well.More infoKokkari EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.9
- LLisavipSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTrestle is an exceptional dining experience, not just for the food but also for the incredible service! For $45, you get a beautifully curated 3-course meal, and we added the $12 supplement—worth every penny. We started with the persimmon toast with pâté and the butternut squash soup with Brussels sprouts and pomegranate seeds. Both dishes were hearty, flavorful, and a perfect way to kick off the meal. The clam pasta supplement was outstanding—rich, buttery, and zesty. Definitely a highlight! For entrees, we had the cod with celery root and the duck confit with blood orange. Both were perfectly cooked, with incredible attention to detail in flavor pairing. Dessert wasn’t my favorite, but that’s only because I was so full by the end! On top of the amazing food, the service was flawless. Everyone who served us was so friendly and pleasant, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. We also learned that the menu changes weekly to highlight seasonal ingredients, which makes me even more excited to return. Trestle is a must-visit for delicious food and fantastic service—highly recommend!More infoTrestlePrice: Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8
