Osteria Amore came to life because we believe in the power of food to change your day, or in our case, change your life. Owner Eduardo Daja has been working in restaurants since he was a teenager growing up in Italy, and his time in culinary school only strengthened his passion for food. After culinary school, Ed stayed in Bologna to work at a family-owned restaurant. He moved to Utah eight years ago, and found himself missing his first love, food. For the past three years, Ed has been managing an Italian restaurant while also maintaining a career in tech and finally made the life-changing decision to open his own restaurant. That big decision was made possible for Ed when he met Marco Cuttaia, Osteria Amore’s executive chef and partner.     I took my wife and daughter to eat the day after Christmas. My wife and I always go in December to see the decorations and walk around after dinner. The swan was out in the upper pond. I enjoyed the fresh oysters. I really enjoyed the bouillabaisse, my wife the salmon, and our daughter the filet mignon very rare (blue). The sides were delightful. We couldn't resist the flourless chocolate cake and the chef specially prepared coconut sorbet. They accommodated the two gluten free ladies and one milk free. The service was also wonderful, cheerful and attentive. Meg made sure we were happy and well taken care of. The manager also visited us and wished us a merry Christmas. The valet gave us extra time to walk the grounds and see the lights and decorations before delivering our car without us even asking. We love going in the Christmas season.

    I came in from NY to visit my daughter for Christmas. We had a lovely, quiet Christmas Eve dinner and we’ll both definitely be back. The ambiance was perfect and the food amazing. It was a crowded evening but the wait was quite reasonable. My daughter lives in SLC and as we were eating she kept mentioning friends she planned to tell about the place,

    Our second time here and it was just as amazing as the first time. The food was exceptional and the prices were unbelievably affordable. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The ambience is chic and cozy. Perfect romantic date night experience.

    Family friendly restaurant. We went for Thanksgiving dinner at St.Bernard and enjoyed the experience and food. It was a quaint restaurant close to the slopes with a warm fireplace and friendly service! The turkey and pumpkin pie was exceptional!
