One reviewer mentioned its 'traditional' experience, while another praised the 'terrific food' and 'iconic setting.' We got there about 45 minutes early for our wedding anniversary dinner and were seated within 15 minutes. Food was great, beautiful aesthetic, server helpful and friendly. Usually venues do provide some sort of celebratory dessert or plate with a wish on it and we did not receive such an item, so that was a bit disappointing even though we had put the occasion in the booking information on OpenTable. Other than that, it was a lovely but chilly evening! We did order the three course meal, which was a good value.

Met an old friend who came to Manhattan for business and was staying near by. Had not been here for quite some time and forgot how beautiful it is. We had a lovely lunch and one of the best salads I ever had, the RTR salad. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Very enjoyable 1st birthday dinner for our daughter! Delish bread with dip to start, yummy cocktails to cheers the occasion! Amazing octopus salad that daughter enjoyed very much, as well! Table side bucatini cacio e pepe and tiramisu were a hit with her, too! Husband had fuisili langoustine scampi that was YUM! They surprised my daughter and got everyone to sing to her with a cannoli and candle presentation! Overall amazing experience all around!

I enjoyed my visit to the Red Rooster yesterday. The temperature, taste and quantity of food was very good. Most of the dishes we experienced was excellent. We tasted several of the menu selections. Loved the deviled eggs, fried chicken and jerk salmon . Service was very professional but friendly. The price for the quality of the food we ate was more than welcomed. I loved my experience at Red Rooster and would choose this restaurant again if I’m in this area again.
