With opulent interiors and a contemporary bar and eatery, we are proud to have become a hub for the local area. Join us for a great cup of coffee, a decent pint of beer, or a glass of chilled champagne. Take a seat at the bar facing the door if you want to see and be seen, or find a table in the garden room which opens out onto the terrace. The zuppa di pesce was a comforting, aromatic delight. For dessert, the ricotta e pera was creamy and delicate, while the rum baba was soaked to perfection. Great food, warm ambiance, and excellent service—an absolute must-visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Our favourite Italian restaurant. Visited for a valentine lunch, and had the whole place to ourselves. Amazing all round as always. Crab starter, delicious. Chicken Milanese, delicious. Strawberry mousse, amazing - could have eaten several portions it was that good. Wife loved her lamb and soup. Service is exceptional, Theo is the perfect host. We will return, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are coming up and The Gables is the perfect restaurant to celebrate.
