- EEmilouVIPLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoArrived here at 11:30 and they weren’t serving their full lunch menu yet; just breakfast and salad/pizzas from their lunch menu. The ricotta pancakes were very delicious. The ricotta had a bit of pineapple in it, but it’s served on the side so it works for those who might not like pineapples. We also ordered the Barbara pizza with Italian sausage, which was very tasty. The meat omelette was pretty big, plenty of meat inside, and topped with bolognese sauce. The layout of the shop is unique and they have a nice little grocery with some wine and Italian food items.More infoGarage Buona ForchettaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Coronado•4.6
- KKristinaSan Diego •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoFirst time at Kalaveras in Chula Vista & experienced their brunch menu with some micheladas, bottomless mimosas, &shots for dessert. I decided to get the ceviche appetizer w a side of there spice sauce (4/5 stars), my friends ordered adobada steak and eggs 4/5 stars, pasta al Diablo (4/5 stars), and barbacoa omelette (3/4 stars; not because it was bad but it was basic compared to the other dishes- taste was 4/5stars). Server and service was 4/5 stars not because they were lacking but because they didn’t go above and beyond. They did give great service overall, especially refilling our mimosas before they reached the bottom of the glass. They were very aware and very attentive with us and his other tables. Overall experience: Fell in love with the Redando beach location so had to try this one with my San Diego friends.I would give a “10/10 would recommend” and would come back again. Rating scale: My ratings to give a 5/5 would have to be Michelin Star restaurants so this 4/5 is still exceptionally high rating for this establishment in my books. Hope this helps &Enjoy!More infoKalaveras - Chula VistaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Chula Vista / Bonita•4.4

- VVicSan Diego •55 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is a 5 star experience! Our party of four tried four different cocktails, 12 different dishes and three desserts. Impossible to pick a favorite and impossible to select anything that was not exceptional. Additionally, the chef and team were super sensitive to serving any dishes that would be an allergy issue. So the food was glorious, the chef and team brilliant…yet the staff is what elevated the experience. From our two servers, their assistant, the sommelier and the front of house - one word - Brilliant.
