Best Authentic Restaurants in Kailua

Restaurant Suntory is always a wonderful place to have an excellent Japanese meal. We have never been disappointed by the food or service. The restaurant itself is well designed with a modern Japanese and open feel. It’s our go to Japanese restaurant. We will return.

Our reservation was at 8:45 pm and it was not super busy. It was a fun, relaxed ambiance and we enjoyed the live music! The food was great for the most part. I enjoyed the macadamia crusted mahi mahi. The pizzas were good. Shrimp appetizer was only so-so (but our waiter did warn us it wasn’t the best thing on the menu - my daughter just really wanted shrimp). The service was great. I wish I remembered our waiter’s name because he was really friendly and engaging and deserves a shout out. I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time on Christmas Day, the service was excellent, food was outstanding as well. Very nice resort with beautiful beach around, will comeback again

What could be better than a view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach while you eat? The food! Our dinners were outstanding. My wife said it was the best steak she’d ever had, and my daughter said the same about here pasta. All four of our meals were excellent, no one was disappointed. My only complaint is that we were all too full to even share a piece of Hula pie!

Amazing food, amazing service. Always happy when we dine at Fete. We split two of the entree specials and could barely believe how good they were. Thank you to everyone at this fine, fine restaurant!
